Roadash is a delivery-driver earnings tracker for recording trips, active time, extra pay, expenses, vehicles, customers, settings, and goals. This Privacy Policy explains how Roadash handles information when you use the app.

Information You Provide or Create

Roadash is local-first. The core information you enter or generate in the app is stored on your device, including:

Trips, deliveries, active-time entries, extra pay, fares, tips, duration, distance, platforms, notes, and calculated earnings.
Expenses, expense categories, amounts, dates, locations, and notes.
Customer names, addresses, and related customer records.
Vehicle profiles, fuel or energy settings, wear-and-tear settings, and default vehicle choices.
Goals, currency, country, distance unit, language, theme, minimum-wage top-up preferences, and other app settings.
Local notifications and report/tip notification metadata.

We do not operate a Roadash account system for this local app data, and the app does not upload your core trip, customer, expense, vehicle, or goal database to Roadash servers as part of normal use.

Location Information

Roadash can request location permission to track trip distance and support timed trips. Depending on your device settings and the permission you grant, location may be used while the app is open and, if enabled, while a trip is being tracked in the background.

Location data used for trip tracking is processed for app functionality and stored locally as part of your Roadash data where needed. You can disable location permissions in your device settings, but some trip tracking features may stop working or become less accurate.

Photos and Receipts

Roadash may request access to photos or media when you choose to scan or import an image, such as a trip receipt or delivery screenshot. The app uses the selected image to help extract trip details. Roadash does not require access to your entire photo library unless your device permission choice allows it.

Notifications

Roadash may ask for notification permission to show local reminders, reports, tips, and app notifications. Notification content and metadata are stored locally. You can disable notifications in your device settings.

Backup, Export, Restore, and Sharing

Roadash lets you export and restore your local database. Exported files may include trips, expenses, customers, settings, vehicles, goals, and other local app data.

When you export, share, back up, upload, email, store, or otherwise transfer a Roadash file outside the app, that file is handled by the destination you choose, such as your device storage, cloud storage provider, email app, messaging app, or another third-party service. Review those services' privacy practices before sharing exported files.

Restoring a database replaces the current local Roadash database on that device.

Diagnostics and Error Reporting

Roadash may use Sentry or similar diagnostics tools to understand crashes, errors, and app performance. Diagnostic reports may include technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, error stack traces, timestamps, and related runtime context. These reports are used to debug and improve the app.

We do not intentionally send your core Roadash database to diagnostics providers. However, error messages or technical context can sometimes include limited app state. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in free-text fields when it is not needed.

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Roadash is not designed to collect:

Account passwords for delivery platforms.
Payment card numbers or banking credentials.
Government identification numbers.
Health information.
Children's personal information.

Do not enter sensitive information into Roadash unless it is necessary for your own records.

How We Use Information

Roadash uses information to:

Provide trip, earnings, expense, vehicle, customer, and goal tracking features.
Calculate net profit, hourly earnings, vehicle costs, and minimum-wage top-up estimates.
Display dashboards, activity history, reports, and notifications.
Support backup, restore, import, and export features you choose to use.
Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, maintain security, and improve app reliability.

Third-Party Services

Roadash may rely on platform and service providers, including:

Apple, Google, Expo, and device operating system services for app distribution, permissions, location, notifications, media access, and sharing.
Sentry or similar diagnostics providers for crash and error reporting.
Third-party apps or services you choose when exporting, importing, restoring, sharing, or storing Roadash files.

Third-party services process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because Roadash is local-first, most app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the database, uninstall the app, clear app data, or replace it through restore.

To delete local Roadash data, you can delete records inside the app where available, use app data management features, clear app data through your operating system, or uninstall the app. Exported backup files must be deleted separately from wherever you saved or shared them.

Diagnostic providers may retain crash and error reports according to their own retention settings and policies.

Security

Roadash uses device storage and platform security controls to protect local app data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, operating system account, backups, and exported files.

International Use

Roadash supports multiple languages and may be used in different countries. Diagnostics or third-party services may process information in countries other than where you live.

Children's Privacy

Roadash is not intended for children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be identified by the "Last updated" date above.
